AIC Hospital celebrated 100 years of healthcare to God’s glory in May 2015. We were grateful to have alumni missionaries visit us, including Nettie Sinclair who founded the nursing school at Kijabe, and 98 year-old Dr. Bill Barnett, who served as a surgeon and through whom God provided the funding to build Kijabe hospital as we know it today.
The Centennial theme is “come with us” from Numbers 10:29 – “We are setting out for the place about which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us. . .” The invitation is for all of our staff at Kijabe hospital, patients, the local community, and our global partners around the world to join in the work of healing, compassion, restoration, and sharing the hope of the gospel Jesus Christ that occurs at Kijabe Hospital. The Lord has begun this work and will carry it to completion – we invite you to come with us in prayer, in service, and in financial support.
