Caroline Addison is a high school senior in Texas and president of Future Doctors of America at her school.  She heard about Dr. Erik Hansen’s work in pediatric surgery at Kijabe and asked us how she could get involved.  “James and I want to make a difference in the world and we were hoping we could do something involving your (Dr. Hansen’s) work because of the impact it had on us.”  After several conversations we found the perfect project, and she spent the summer collecting donated children’s books to send to Kijabe.  Volunteers on the Bethany Kids pediatric ward will use them to read with and teach patients during their stay at Kijabe.

Thank you so much to Caroline, her brother James, and everyone who donated.  It is so wonderful to see how God uses Kijabe Hospital to inspire and encourage people around the world.  We thank you so much for partnering with us!
